Nepal Earthquake of 7.8 Magnitudes | News

April 25, 2015

On Saturday 25th April a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck northwest of the capital of Kathmandu - the worst earthquake in the region in more than 80 years.

Over 8,000 people have been killed and many more have been injured caused by extensive damage to buildings. The crisis of food and water supply and the poor sanitation along with regular aftershocks has made the lives of locals more vulnerable to diseases like diarrhea and dysentery.
